The 'Single track' Odyssey
After our rather aborted tour in Poland last year where Frank injured her back and we had a lot of hassle with insurance companies we decide that we would do a 'Stay tour' to coin a phrase and stay in the UK.
One area that we both had not ventured to were the Inner and Outer Hebrides. We decided on a route from Oban that would take us using the CalMac ferries through Coll and Tiree in the Inner Hebrides, then on to the Outer Hebrides from Vatersay in the south to the Butt of Lewis right up in the furthest NW corner and then a return via Skye, the mainlain of Moidart, the Ardnamurchan pennisula and Mull.
