North Sea Cycle Route
The North Sea Cycle Route runs through the countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, England and Scotland. Its length is some 6000km in total. More information can be obtained from the official North Sea Cycle Route site at: www.northsea-cycle.com.
Please note there has been a lot of ferry changes in the last couple of years, there is now no longer a ferry between Lerwick and Bergen, between Bergen and Newcastle or from Scrabster to Bergen. There is a flight from Sumburgh in Shetland to Bergen opperated by www.flybe.com only in the months of June to August 2009.
