Finnmark	Melsviktunnelen	E6	2467m	Yes	Yes	There used to be a nice alternative route (pre-tunnel road) along coast east of tunnel. Do NOT go this way, road is cut off by huge landslide, but inadeqately marked.	The whole tunnel is well lit. Going from the north to the south the first 300 meters is ascending, the rest is decending. There still is a side walk for cyclists and pedestrians.
Nordland	Uttakleivtunnelen	990	880m	Yes	Yes but poorly lit.	Prefer the old elevated Uttakleiveien coastroute to get blown by the colors and the scenery of the coast. Viewpoints are documented along the route by QR-scans. This route around the Veggen is not paved and somewhat rocky. Be aware off the grazing sheep and close the fences after passing through.	There is no elevation. The road makes a curve inside and you should make sure you are noticed. Tunnel is lit, but expect poor visibility without reflective gear. Tunnel is too narrow for two passing cars, so there are several M-sign passing havens created inside. There is also enough space outside the markings when on foot, but no hard shoulder. Reflective vests, free for use while passing through the tunnel, are available for hikers and cyclists in boxes at both entrances. Organised and funded for by locals. This tunnelstretch is part of a popular walking route touring the old route around the Veggen.

Hordaland	Jordalstunnelen	Jordalsvegen	3000m	Yes	Yes but poorly lit.	1. Old Jordalsvegen. But there are two long dark tunnels 2. Gravel road through Haugane and Brekkedalen to Stalheim	The tunnel is quite new. It was opened for traffic in June 2016. This is a spiral tunnel - the road changes direction in the opposite direction twice in the tunnel, but the turns are smooth. If you ride from the southern entrance the climb will be very steep, elevation gain is over 300 meters at 3000 meters of the tunnel. The light turns on automatically when a car enters the tunnel, but it does not respond to cyclists. Be careful - the light turns off automatically when the car exits the tunnel, and it becomes almost completely dark.

There are gates about 50 metres behind the Southern entrance. Usually they are closed but there is a door too. The door is always open - many tourists hike through the tunnel to a glacier. Also there is uphill from the Southern entrance to the Northern one and a fork inside the tunnel. Turn left on the fork.

Immediately behind the Northern exit of the tunnel is a cattle grid protecting the tunnel from the entrance of the animals. Immediately behind bars-a sharp turn right. Bright daylight after a dark tunnel can blind the cyclist. The cyclist may not notice the cattle grid and start turning before crossing the cattle grid. It can be dangerous, the wheel can fall into the slot between the grid tubes.

It's an old road and I'm not sure if there's asfalt all the way or if it's gravel, but you'll pass a few farms and come back on the E6 straight after the tunnel. I didn't do it because It's down and uphill instead of the straighter tunnel.	Went through it in the start of may on my bike fully packed, around 14:00. Didn't have any traffic in the tunnel, but the rest of the road there were quite a few big trucks passing me. Though I don't see any problems, as the tunnel has a small sidewalk where you have just enough space to cycle on.

Nordland	Unstad	992	630m	Yes	Yes but poorly lit	The old gravel road over Varden. You get a breathtaking view of the beautiful agricultural village and famous surf spot Unstad and The big sea. You can follow the 2nd generation road along the mountain side on a gravel road or take the first generation cart road down to the village. But this have parts that are not suitable for cycling. But it is fine to go with the bike. See more info for a photo of the view.	A narrow tunnel with a blind curve. From Unstad there is an ascent and with low speed it can be experienced as unpleasant when traffic comes from behind.

Parts of the road are too steep and in poor condition to ride a bike, but you can walk the bike if it is not to loaded.
