Guides to this part of the North Sea Cycle Route are a bit thin on the ground, however there are some information booklets produced by the local tourist boards.
The Halland district produces an A4 colour 11page guide entitled 'Halland - Cycle trails at your own pace'. It describes the 'Ginsteden', the 'Cykelspåret' and the 'Hylteslingan' and 'North Sea Cycle' routes that run through their district. There are some strip maps (1:50,000) of the routes and brief descriptions. It is now available in English or German. It can be obtained for free by e-mailing them at

The Västsvenska Tourist board produces a guide entitled 'Cykelspåret Bohuslän (Göteborg and northwards)'. It describes the ' Cykelspåret' cycle route that runs through their district. There are some strip maps (@1:200,000) of the routes (not really good enough to navigate by) and brief descriptions. Unfortunately it is only available in Swedish or with a German translation. It can be obtained for free by e-mailing them at info@vastsvenskaturistradet.se.
Ferries
In order to get from Denmark to Sweden and vice versa, you will have to use these ferry companies.
