 The main guide to this section of the North Sea Route is the Bikeline Guide.
Number 1 - Holland: Rotterdam to Leer.
The guide includes 1:75,000 maps of the route (including variants), route descriptions, tips and details of accommodation. As far as I am aware 'Number 1' is only available in German but the maps are very good and easy to follow, more details can be found on the publishers website.
In order to do some of the variants you may have to use these ferry companies.
Den Helder to Texel - every hour at 30mins to the hour from 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
Texel to Den Helder - every hour at on the hour from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
On Sundays and public holidays, the first sailing is one or two hours later, depending on the season.

Harlingen to Vlieland - Departs at 09:00, 14:15 and 19:00 Daily
Vlieland to Harlingen - Departs at 07:00, 11:45 and 16:45 Daily
Price for oneway - Adults 11€, Bikes 5.75€
These were the times & prices in summer 2003 for the regular ferries which take bikes. The Fast Ferries do not take bikes.

Texel to Vlieland - Departs 17:00 Daily
 Vlieland to Texel - Departs 10:30 Daily- Please note that this is the time that the ferry leaves and to get to the ferry you will need to catch the 'Vliehors Express' which is a big 8 wheeled truck that will take you the 7km across the Vliehors sands. This leaves the 'Posthuys' at the southern end of the island at 10:00.
Price for oneway in (2003) - Adults 9€, Bikes 5€ (the cost of the 'Vliehors Express' is included in the price)

The ferry jetty at Emden is on the east side of the Aussen Hafen.
The ferry jetty at Delfzijl is at the NW corner of the Handelshafen.
The ferry jetty at Ditzum is at west side of the canal the north side of the sea wall.
The ferry in the summer of 2003 ran from 1/5/2003 to 30/9/2003 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
