We generally take two gas stoves as this gives us a bit more versatility on what we are able to cook (we like to eat well!), you could however manage using just one.

Although gas is more expensive we prefer it, as it is easier to use than say petrol. If we are going somewhere more remote where getting hold of gas cartridges might be a problem, we substitute one of the gas stoves for our Peak 1 petrol/kerosene stove.
